Consistent and reasonably priced! I'm leaving my review for this location in Fort Wayne because it was my most recent experience. However, I've been to several Texas Roadhouse locations in Kokomo, Noblesville, Indianapolis, and Portage (MI). I have food dreams about the rolls here. They are always deliciously fresh with the cinnamon sugar whipped butter spread. I have to stop myself because I would probably fill up on those if I had no nutritional conscience. They have the typical roadhouse peanuts served from the moment you sit down in addition to the rolls. My favorite appetizer is the onion blossom with the delicious southwest sauce comes with it. When given the choice between steak or salmon, I typically prefer salmon. The salmon with the lemon pepper is consistently good. It's served with tartar sauce that I never use because I'm not a fan of tartar sauce with salmon. However, the steak is consistent as well for the times that I've ordered it. The prices compared to many other steakhouses are actually quite reasonable, especially because a lot of the entrees come with two sides of your choosing. I know exactly what I'm going to get and how it's going to taste. The service I've had there has always been quite good. I have no complaints from any time that I can remember. The last time I went, I remember thinking to myself what a good waitress she was. To wrap this up, I'm always happy with the service and food that is provided by Texas Roadhouse. It is consistent, certainly fills you up, and doesn't leave a dent in your wallet.

As time goes by. Monday 8/4/14 It's a chain.. Okay? After a 7 hourlong drive through hundreds and hundreds of acres of cornfields and soybeans, a fastfood restaurant seemed like the perfect ending to a tiring day. Oops.. Not so fast.. Not so fastfood, that is... Seated pretty quickly and the bucket full of peanuts (with an empty for shells) was a nice touch. So was the staff line dance at the top of every hour.. Unfortunately, we nearly saw two dances before we finished the evening and we only ordered salad with grilled sirloin. The chagrined waitress explained that management released some of the staff early on Mondays and there was more business than expected.. Shame, shame on the manager.. The pretty lady and I both agreed the salad was nothing exceptional nor was the house Merlot.. Yawn. But, we were hungry and the salad filled the plate.. Otherwise I'd give it a 2 star.. :D

I know I will catch some flak for this, but I personally feel that Texas Roadhouse serves the best steaks I have had in St. Louis. I have been to Tucker's and Sam's and a few of the other "high-end" steak houses in St. Louis and they simply don't out-shine the quality and value of the steaks at Texas Roadhouse. The service is excellent, the rolls are to-die for. All-around just a great experience and a great price.

We went to celebrate my son's birthday on a Friday night because a co-worker recommended it to him. On the plus side, they do call-ahead seating which was a huge plus as there was a 45 minute wait for those who didn't call ahead. We waited perhaps 5 minutes. The food was ok. I've had better BBQ but nothing was bad here. I liked the choices and portions. The decor is just what I expected. No complaints there. The negatives: This place was loud, crowded and chaotic. For instance, we had a nice booth on the second level at the back. However, they stuck an extra chair between the booth my husband sat in and the booth across the walkway from us. We had to squeeze around it to get out of the booth. They play fun country music. That's not a bad thing. But it was so loud, it only added to a chaotic atmosphere. I asked the manager if she could turn it down when she came to check on us. She did, but it still was irritatingly loud. I'm assuming it's done on purpose so that customers don't linger and talk. Our waitress was pleasant, but because it was so busy, we were never given refills on drinks nor asked if we wanted them. But in the middle of all the business, there was an announcement that in "2 minutes" the staff were going to do a line dance. Now, in theory, this is cute. However, this place is crowded, packed and has at this time over an hour wait for a table. For the waitstaff to have to stop, go up to the bar area and do a line dance in the walkway where diners are trying to walk to their table in the middle of dinner service made me scratch my head. Plus, it was evident that none of them were happy about it or were worried they would hit someone since there was NO ROOM! Now, if they had a dance floor and had 2 dedicated staff to encourage customers to line dance, that would have been great. I would have joined them. I just didn't get having the waitstaff do it during dinner service. I also noticed that they were all female. I saw males working there, but none of them danced. I realize the prices are less than Logan's or perhaps Outback, but that's where I'll go next time. I want to sit and enjoy my meal, not feel like I'm cattle being herded in and out.

Absolutely love Texas Roadhouse. It is always my hubby and i's go-to place for date night locally. The sirloin steak and shrimp is so delicious. The steak is juicy and shrimp grilled just right. They serve a house made garlic butter with it which I wish I could dip everything in it. And can't forget the onion blossoms! Never have had an issue at this particular one and we go all the time. Nice, friendly, knowledgeable staff and great cooks in the back. And clean.

I love Fort Wayne, I so do. So small town on the edge of big. And Texas Roadhouse pukes up that theme on every visit. Another to-go meal, with pretty tasty food, but again no utensils, no napkins. Fort Wayne's new motto: FORT WAYNE! Where we eat with our fingers and use our pants as napkins!

Texas Roadhouse is one of those nicely appointed chains that looks like it could be pretty good, especially with it's line out the door on a Friday near 8 pm with a snowstorm going on outside. It has to be decent right? It killed the restaurant next to it didn't it? Pros: + The prices for the portions are all pretty good. + They're willing to put cheese on almost anything. + They have this pretty little display case in the front of the restaurant with all kinds of meat in it. + Chili has a lot of great flavor to it. Cons: - The steak isn't that good of quality. This is a serious issue at a restaurant where steak is a staple. - Additionally, whoever said the chef cooks how he wants, is pretty much spot on. I asked for mid-rare, I'm pretty sure that steak was just short of running off the plate. (yum to me, but could be a real issue if you actually want your steak cooked to what you ordered) - The chili had a great flavor, and at least two pieces of grizzle. The cup of chili wasn't that big. - The fries were meh. They were dry, didn't have enough cheese, and the cheese they had didn't taste very cheesy. The bacon was the best part. Overall, the problem with Texas Roadhouse is pretty simple, at some point, quality got pushed aside for quantity. Everything just is overwhelmingly mediocre. It's makes for a simple, stick to your ribs meal, but it's not quite the most satisfying feeling. Not a bad time, just go with low expectations, and grab a giant margarita from them, it'll be fine.

Here I am to ring IN New Years Day with a great meal at the Texas Road House! OK! I have been to this location three times and each time they hit a home run! They are consistently high in customer service! The wait staff are always friendly and well groomed. The food is always tasty no matter what item you choose from the menu. The appetizers are superb and the crisp salads are complimented by some of the best salad dressings available. All in all i can't find anything wrong here. The peanuts are always fresh and salted perfectly! You can have a nice meal with the spouse or the whole family! Yowser!

Giving it 2 stars for the bug in the salad and poor damage control after. But the steak was decent, cooked correctly but needed a bit more seasoning. Waitress did great, but the manager was unsuccessful in making us happy after their mistake for too long.

I'm only giving this place two stars because of organization problems. The hostess has no concept of time. If you want a better review from me, I consider to not under exaggerate how long the wait will be. A few minutes I'm fine with, but almost an hour is inexcusable. For this particular visit I opted for call ahead seating. The told me over the phone the wait would be 1 and a half hours so I showed up at the recommended fifteen minutes early. Once I got there they gave me my pager and said it would be about ten minutes before I got seated. I was there for another hour before my pager went off. The food is good, but that doesn't make up for the terrible time mismanagement this restaurant has. Every time I go there this is an issue. This is not an isolated incident. One more thing. If there are any fire marshals out there. Please visit this restaurant during peak dining times. I would love to see this place packed with a huge fine because of everyone waiting to be seated is packed in like sardines. I guarantee that is a big safety hazard and violates the capacity rating. It's so bad people cannot get in or out of the restaurant.

Great place for a steak. Being from Washington State where our only semi-cheap restaurant is Outback Stake House, where the FBI and CIA would be proud with their interrogation methods by hanging booth lights so low that it gives anyone without a migraine history a migraine, Any other steak house in our area charges too much where we have nightmares after visiting. We were looking for a good steak restaurant for a modest price. We visited this place on Jan 2 and were happy with the results. We arrived early, before 5:30 PM, and were seated in two booths, one for the children and one for the adults. All food arrived at the same time and was excellent. The steaks and sides were prepared to perfection. The service and price was excellent. We were seated, ordered, and was served in under an hour. Great, great, great place if you know when to visit. Outstanding service that earned more than the normal 15 percent tip. Appreciate this place...some don't have the luxury.

This is an unusually good execution of a "Country-western" themed restaurant. The food is EXCELLENT. Prices for an entree range from about $8 to $25 (the more expensive ones involving expensive cuts of meat, huge platters, or lots of ribs). The theme is well-executed and feels somewhat genuine as opposed to the "fake antique" chains. You can almost imagine that this place is one-of-a-kind, even though you know deep down it isn't at all. MUCH better than the tumbleweed. On par with lonestar (only it seems to be typically cheaper than lonestar for similar items).
